Papa and Mimi came into town for Christmas, and we started off the night with our church's Christmas Eve service with them and Jojo, my parents, and all of the Martins. We came back home to pizza and The Polar Express.
After The Polar Express, we put out food for the reindeer... they need food to get them through the night, too. Kate wanted to put out marshmallows and candy corn. Isn't that what you feed your reindeer?
I haven't used my big camera in awhile, especially my 50mm lens, so I played around with that and settings for awhile. PJs,pizza, a pallet on the floor, and The Polar Express... fun!
When the movie was over, we looked to see where Santa was on Norad... Clayton told Kate he was in Europe and had to cross the water to get to us, but he was on his way! She FREAKED out! She was almost in tears because she "needed to get to bed before Santa came!" Mimi, Papa, and Jojo left to spend the night at Joseph's and we settled down a bit for Clayton to read the Christmas story. We started out on the floor in the living room, but Kate was still worried about Santa coming, so we moved to Kate's room. It really was quite comical trying to read about Jesus being born and Kate saying over and over, "I just really need to go to bed!" What a mess! The girls quickly went to bed and we got ready for Santa!
